BREAKING: Court sacks Local Government chiefs in Ondo

Reports from Ondo state says a High Court sitting in Akure, the state capital, has sacked the local government executives in the entire state.
Presiding judge Justice Isiq, while delivering his judgment, said that Ondo State Independent Electoral Commission (ODIEC) erred by omitting the Peoples Redemption Party (PRP) on the election ballot paper.
The chairmen and the counsellors of the councils were members of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) who were elected into the offices after winning the local government election held in April 2016.
