Commission for Judicial Inquiry submit report on Zaria clash

– The Judicial Commission of Inquiry on the clash between the Nigerian army and Nigeria’s Shiites in Zaria is to present the official report
– The report will be received by Mallam Nasir Ahmad El-Rufai, the governor of Kaduna state, this Friday
The Commission for Judicial Inquiry under the chairmanship of Justice Mohammed Garba, the presiding justice of the Port Harcourt Division of the Court of Appeal, has finished its investigation into the causes of clashes in Zaria last year.
The long-awaited report on the alleged massacre by the Nigerian army on the Shia Muslim community of Zaria, including the Islamic Movement in Nigeria (IMN), will be officially presented to Mallam Nasir Ahmad El-Rufai , the governor of Kaduna state
According to Samuel Aruwan, the spokesman to Governor El-Rufai, Justice Mohammed Lawal Garba will personally submit the report to the governor.
Meanwhile, the Department of State Security (DSS) claimed that the leader of the Islamic Movement of Nigeria (IMN), Ibrahim El-Zakzaky is being detained at his own will .
